Charlotte Lapsansky

SBC Professional

Charlotte Lapsansky is an SBC professional with 20 years’ experience in social and behavior change communication research, design, implementation, and capacity building. She is a Lead Advisor in Save the Children’s Behavior Change and Community Health team and is currently serving as Director for SBC for USAID’s Agency for All project.  Before joining SCUS, Charlotte was an SBC specialist for UNICEF HQ, where she led global SBC capacity development strategy and supported SBC initiatives for child protection, with a focus on violence against children, FGM and child marriage. Prior to UNICEF, Charlotte was a Development Communication Specialist at the Asian Development Bank in the Philippines, supporting the integration of social and behavior change in national development projects across Asia. She also lived in India, working and conducting research with local organizations on entertainment education, youth engagement and community empowerment for
prevention of violence against women.  Charlotte has a PhD in communication, with a focus on communication for social change.
