
Francis Mutekanga
Francis Mutekanga has 13+ years of integrated, multi-disciplinary professional experience. Proficient in strategy development and implementation of work in the fields of Social Behavior Change (SBC), Marketing, Advertising, Corporate & Program Communications, Social and Market Research including Monitoring & Evaluation, Community Development, and Entrepreneurship. He’s contributed to many SBC initiatives including the development of national communication strategies and campaigns across East Africa, funded by international bodies like USAID, UNICEF, the World Bank, among others.
He currently serves as the Head of Strategy at WEKOnnect Group, a Uganda-based consultancy agency using Social and Behavior Change principles to enhance the impact of research and program communications. Previously worked with TNS RMS East Africa (now KANTAR) – a leading global market research & insights firm, and two multinational advertising agencies: Scanad and MetropolitanRepublic. Francis strives to cheer the good in everyone and in every situation.
