OUR CHAPTER HIGHLIGHTS

AS-SBC provides technical expertise and a wealth of knowledge to help in the development of social behavior change approaches, programs and communications to address health and development issues.

One of our biggest success stories is “TOSEMBERERA – KEEP A DISTANCE” campaign – a brain child of our Next Big Thing Campaign Design and Innovation.  Approved and adopted by the Ugandan Ministry of Health as the national COVID-19 communication campaign; it has helped encourage Ugandans to adopt and sustain desired behaviors and practices that help prevention and manage COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign has also been adopted and adapted by: WHO, UNICEF and Water AID amongst others.

Menna Reda Kamel
Social Marketer and SBC Consultant and Founder of Insan Social Marketing Company.

Menna Kamel is the founder of Insan Social Marketing Company, Egypt’s first social marketing firm. A Social Marketing and Social & Behavior Change (SBC) consultant, she is a founding and Board of Directors (BOD) member of the International Social Marketing Association (iSMA), serves on the BOD for the African Social Marketing Association (AfSMA), and leads the Egypt Country Chapter for the African Society for Social and Behavior Change (AS-SBC). Menna worked with UN agencies, NGOs, and the Egyptian government, developing communication and social marketing strategies. A Presidential Leadership Program graduate and top of her MBA class at the American University in Cairo (AUC). She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with highest honors from AUC with a concentration in marketing and minor in psychology. The “Screens Program” is her company’s flagship program focusing on social and behavior change to support parents, educators, children and adolescents to attain a healthy well-being through her 3S’s model: screen time, content and habits.
