Previously the Social and Behavioral Change (SBC) Coordinator at Save the Children International (SCI) and currently joining Concern Worldwide Burkina Faso to implement SBC field activities, Gilles Waongo is a founding member and President of the national chapter of AS-SBC in Burkina Faso. He is based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Holding a Master’s degree in Sociology, Gilles Waongo has over 15 years of professional experience in development projects, including 5 years as an SBC Coordinator with NGOs such as Mwangaza Action, Save the Children International, and the Canadian Center for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI). He is married and the father of two daughters and two sons.
