Strategic Symposiums: Navigating Global Health Transitions

To address shifts in global health funding and the need for local sustainability, AS-SBC has hosted high-level symposiums bringing together donors and practitioners. These events focus on “Financial Resilience” and domestic resource mobilization, teaching chapters how to pitch SBC as a critical, cost-saving component of national health systems.

These sustainability strategies have been adopted by the 15 AS-SBC Country Chapters as part of their localized operational toolkits.

These sessions typically engage 800-1,200 practitioners per event, representing a cross-section of NGOs, government departments, and academic institutions.

The creation of a “Sustainability Roadmap” that has helped multiple chapters identify and secure local partnerships, reducing the total reliance on traditional international grant cycles.
