The AS-SBC operates through a decentralized model of 15+ Country Chapters. These chapters host “Breakfast presentations”, monthly meetings for local practitioners to share case studies, and “Mentorship circles” that pair veteran behavioral scientists with early-career professionals.
This mentorship model has been adopted as the professional standard for several National SBC Technical Working Groups across East and West Africa.
Over 3,500 professionals have participated in local chapter events, with hundreds of formal mentor-mentee pairings established.
The creation of a “Resilient Talent Pipeline.” Approximately 40% of program participants have advanced into leadership or specialist roles within their respective organizations, ensuring that the future of African development is led by skilled, local experts.
